MEET KEVIN LAI

Kevin Lai is the owner and operator behind Lai’s Electrical Services. He entered the electrical trade shortly after graduating high school in 2017 and has spent nearly a decade building his career from the ground up, with experience across high-end residential, commercial construction, and electrical service.

Kevin began his career wiring custom homes throughout San Diego County before transitioning into commercial construction and service work. Over the years, he worked his way from apprentice to journeyman, service foreman, and commercial foreman, gaining experience in troubleshooting and repairs, lighting controls, tenant improvements, and project coordination.

After nearly a decade in the trade, Kevin founded Lai’s Electrical Services with the goal of putting his experience to work for his own clients. As an owner-operated company, Kevin remains directly involved in every project, bringing a personal level of service and the same commitment to quality workmanship that has guided him throughout his career.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, snowboarding, catching the occasional music festival, and spending time with his friends, family, and cats.
